In a highly volatile session of trade, Domestic bourses logged modest losses on account of subdued global stocks. In early trade, local stocks edged lower tracking mostly lower Asian stocks. Volatility ruled the roost as fresh selling pulled the key benchmark indices lower, derailing a brief intraday recovery. Stocks cut losses after hitting fresh intraday low in late trade. Metal sector were the major gainers and realty sector were the major losers of the day.
