Online Stock Tips For Traders/Investors 29th Oct.


Key equity barometers ended with marginal gains after a volatile session on Friday. The Nifty opened higher but quickly pared gains in early trade. The index turned range bound and traded above 11,550 level in mid-morning session. Selling pressure intensified in afternoon trade as Nifty briefly slipped below 11,500. The 50-unit index regained momentum in mid-afternoon session and regained reclaimed 11,600. Fresh selling in last half hour dragged the index near the flat line.

Larry Page’s “city of the future” is closer to approval in Toronto after two years of controversy threatened to scuttle the project.U.S. Stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Basic Materials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.57%, while the S&P 500 index added 0.41%, and the NASDAQ Composite index added 0.70%.

InterGlobe Aviation, the operator of low cost airline IndiGo, fell 10 percent intraday on October 25 after the loss widened and margin contracted in quarter ended September 2019.

L&T won an order from Chalet Hotels for construction of civil and steel structure works at proposed commercial building in Powai. The order is worth Rs 319.5 crore.

Piramal Enterprises tumbled 7.73% after the company said its board approved raising fresh capital of Rs 5,400 crore through a rights issue and preferential allotment of compulsory convertible debentures.

Dilip Buildcon has been declared L-1 bidder by the UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority for two projects viz. Development of Bundelkhand Expressway Project and Gorakhpur Link Expressway Project in the state of Uttar Pradesh on EPC Basis.

The board of Bandhan Bank has approved the proposal to increase the shareholding limits for foreign portfolio investors and foreign institutional investors from 24% to 49% of the paid-up capital of the bank.

Germany stocks were mixed as gains in the Technology, Construction and Chemicals sectors led shares higher while losses in the Utilities, Insurance and Software sectors led shares lower.The DAX gained 0.17% to hit a new 52-week high, while the MDAX index fell 0.22%, and the TecDAX index fell 0.69%.

France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Foods & Drugs, Gas & Water and General Financial sectors led shares higher.The CAC 40 added 0.67% to hit a new 5-year high, while the SBF 120 index gained 0.64%.

Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.The OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.22% to hit a new 1-month high.
