Benchmark indices traded lower on the very first trading session of the week on account of weak global cues as investors remained unconvinced about US President Donald Trump’s ability to fulfill his economic agenda, even as the departure of his controversial policy strategist raised hopes of some progress. Nifty ended the session to close at 9768.60. Auto stocks were the major gainers of the day PSU Banks and Metal stocks were the major losers of the day.
