After a volatile session of trade domestic bourses logged small gains. Local stocks swung between positive and negative zone in a small zone in early trade. Though, in afternoon trade indices hit fresh intraday low as selling pressure intensified. Recovery continued in late trade, pushing the key equity indices to positive zone.The market breadth indicates negative signal. Nifty gained 9.65 points and settled at 10817.70. IT sector were the major gainer and PSU Bank were the major loser of the day.

SoftBank Group Corp. has decided to invest $100 billion in solar power generation in India. SoftBank and the Indian government are expected to reach a formal agreement. European shares had best week in more than three months on Friday, as European Central Bank meeting led investors to push back expectations for an interest rate increase, weakening the euro and helping shares of exporters.

Japan equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Banking, Fishery and Food sectors propelled shares higher.At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 rose 0.50%.
Philippines equities were lower at the close on Friday, as in the sectors propelled shares .At the close in Philippines; the PSEi Composite unchanged 0.00%.
Taiwan equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Electronic Parts/Components, Textile and Semiconductor sectors propelled shares higher.At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted rose 0.67%.
