Global Markets

Japan equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Railway & Bus, Transportation Equipment and Retail sectors propelled shares higher. The Nikkei 225 rose 0.38%.
Philippines equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Holding Firms, Mining & Oil and Property sectors propelled shares lower. The PSEi Composite lost 2.17%.
Taiwan equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Optoelectronic, Cement and Cement & Glass sectors propelled shares higher. At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted added 0.26%.
